Used Toyota Corolla for Sale in Durham, NC

This was the best purchase I could have made! I bought the car in 2009, right after I completed college. This was the middle of a recession and gas prices were high. The Corolla had an affordable payment and was great on gas mileage. In fact, I paid the payment with money I saved from fueling a 1999 Z71. I was commuting 100 miles each day so the Corolla was perfect. The quality has been off the charts! I have done nothing except the routine maintenance every 5,000 miles and have had no problems with any of the mechanical components. The only dislike is that I had to go with a pretty base model due to budget constraints, and in 2009 base was base. I have power windows, locks, and keyless entry---that is it for luxury. However, this may have added to the longevity of the car as I have had no electrical issues. The paint has not held up well, but I haven't exactly done my best to issue it is cleaned and waxed.

The Toyota Corolla was bought used with 130k miles. There have been no problems with any of the engine components, and routine maintenance keeps the car running without any issues. The mileage per tank has barely decreased, even after putting an additional 35k miles on the engine, and the accessories that came with the car all function perfectly. There are plenty of cup holders, and the interior feels spacious and roomy.

This is a good car, but it's far from fancy. But it's also not expensive. Ultimately, 90% of what you need from a car is that it be reliable and go from point A to B comfortably. This car will do that. It's not flashy, but it's also not ugly. While the seats are cloth, I prefer that -- leather gets too hot. The dashboard is basic and the material seems on the cheap side, but other than simply looking good, what actual benefit would I get from driving with a fancier dashboard? Does that help me get from point A to B? No, but it would cost more. Overall, this car is a very good value. It won't impress anyone based on its looks, but it might impress someone by being such a good value.
