Things I like start with the make of the vehicle. I love Toyota's cars. They are easy to fix and parts are cheap and readily available. This model was great for my husband and I when we had our son. It fits a car seat very well and I know its going to be safe if we are ever in an accident. I didn't like the car buying experience and pushy salesman but overall the car has no downsides. The interior is well designed and I love having Bluetooth capabilities. The exterior has amazing rims. If I could I would have gone with a different color car but we took what was available on the lot.

This car is very reliable and dependable. Even at more than 260,000 miles and at more than 20 years old, I can always count on this car. The manual transmission is very easy to drive. I have the station wagon model which seats five and still has plenty of storage space. It is excellent on gas mileage - I can drive about 5 miles to work and back for nearly two weeks without having to fill up. The durability is second to none - I've driven it on the beach and had no problems. Although this is an older vehicle, it has great styling. A friend says it looks like "it should have a flux-capacitor" like the famous DeLorean in Back to the Future. I've driven this car across country from Denver to Jacksonville, FL for a move and it did not let me down. Did I mention that I used it as a moving van? Even loaded with boxes, it still was excellent on gas mileage. The cost of repairs are very reasonable and because most things in the car are manual, a fairly mechanically inclined person can make many repairs themselves. When I first bought my Corolla, it still had nearly entirely original parts. I did have the thermostat go out, had to change the spark plugs and distributor cap, replaced a window and changed out the radiator. After a quick YouTube search and a Saturday afternoon, I was able to do repairs myself, saving at least $100 on the thermostat repair alone!
