This vehicle is extremely well designed and built. This small SUV drives with the agility of a sedan and the toughness of a truck. The ride is incredibly smooth and is able to handle dips and rough terrain with ease. Gas mileage on the vehicle is stickered about 30 MPG, but we found the car drives a realistic 20-25 MPG on average for most situations. Performance was incredible considering it is only a four cylinder and has two-wheel drive on the LX. It was able to easily handle ice and snow and climbed most mountain roads without any problem. The vehicle interior and dash is simple, yet has plenty of technology. That is the great thing about Toyotas. No matter how technological they are, they are always simplistic in design. Interior is comfortable, but seats only four or a tight five. It needs a few more cupholders if you ask me, and perhaps some rear USB connectors as no one uses cigarette lighter plugs anymore. Safety features are state of the art and standard on every trim including the base LX. My car has great features like vehicle stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, lane assist, and others.

I've owned luxury SUV's in the past and my RAV4 performs as well as any of them for half the price. The fit and finish rival the other expensive cars I've owned and it has almost all the important features that were important to me and my spouse. It's stylish, easy to drive and hugs in the cabin like a car that costs so much more. Toyota knocked it out of the park when they designed this vehicle. It has enough power for any situation and quiet enough to make you forget its a 4 cylinder. The steering on this car is better than my previous Lexus and I loved that car too.
