Overall, I've ben incredibly pleased with my car. Other than routine, expected issues as it's aged, the engine and functional parts have held up exceptionally well. The heated leather seats are fantastic, and the back seat is easy to drop down to create a full hatch back experience. I've even watched movies at the drive in from the back of my car. Once when I was camping and my air mattress failed me, I was able to sleep in the back of it. (Your mileage may vary in that regard, as I'm a fairly petite person.) I will say that the interior construction leaves something to be desired. While I'm only the car's second owner, a great deal has deteriorated internally. Nothing that impacts the functionality of the car, but it's disturbing as a small, average strength person when I pull on the door handle, the entire interior door handle off. The area around the sun roof dial has come off, and the dash has developed a sticky feel. That said, it's mechanically reliable, fun to drive, surprisingly roomy inside, and comes with all the fun of watching people play "punch buggy" when I drive by. I love my car and would absolutely drive another Beetle.

I love this car. I have never had any issues other than normal wear and tear. I bought this car when it was two years old, and I am still happy with it. I drove it from Ohio to California, from California to Idaho, from Idaho all over the mountain west, and then back to California and finally all the way back to Ohio and never had a problem. This car handles well in snow and keeps on trucking in the hot desert sun. The gas mileage is fantastic, about 32 miles to the gallon on the highway. People are always surprised by how much interior space there is too; I spent two weeks camping and traveling with a girlfriend, and we both were able to fit all our gear and belongings into the car. It has heated seats, a sun/moon roof, an AUX-in line, leatherette seats and a Tiptronic gear shift.
