The car handles well and gets good gas mileage. The interior trim is well done, with most surfaced treated. An optional carbon fiber trim package adds some sportiness to the interior that is otherwise high on luxury. The new iDrive system is much better than the previous ones, and the car integrates Siri from the iPhone. In addition, the iDrive controller is now touch sensitive, allowing you to scroll maps the way that you would naturally do it on an Apple device. The handling is quite responsive. The car has three modes: Eco Pro, which makes the throttle less sensitive and helps with gas mileage; Normal, which is the car's normal suspension and throttle sensitivity settings; and Sport, which stiffens the suspension, changes the shift points, and makes the throttle a bit more responsive for an all-around more engaging driving experience. The exterior of the car is new for 2013 so few changes are in the 2014s. That said, the 3 series is a svelte, good-looking car.
