The X1 is an economical crossover but, overall, lives up to the good BMW reputation. This is especially true when considering safety and security. It can accommodate skis, beach equipment and groceries easily. Moreover, it seats five people very comfortably (see below).

The 2016 X1 is a strong competitor amongst crossovers with a redesigned look and aggressive looks. It has a strong four-cylinder twin-powered turbo that delivers enough power to cause serious acceleration driven by an eight-speed seamless transmission and optional onboard on the fly three style configurable driving modes. Eco, comfort and sport all deliver the same rideability experience except for the gas consumption and stiffness of the electronic steering and exiting boost levels delivered by the twin p turbo. The X1 combines power with an X drive semi all wheel drive delivering 60/40 power at all times. A handsome choice and appealing price point that competitors cant beat, combined with technology and engineering only BMW can fulfil.
