Luxury car with short lifespan
I've driven about 120,000 miles on this car but started having problems around 100,000 miles. Still don't know what is wrong with the car, but it started occasionally stalling out at mid-level speeds and has been having random things go wrong with it since (e.g., Tps, serpentine belt). Very poor gas mileage. Very comfortable car. It's still running and hasn't had any major (known) problems so far, so I'd say it's fairly reliable. The performance started deteriorating at around 100,000 but not hugely; I can still drive it for my 40 mile round-trip commute every day. Before I hit 100,000 miles, I didn't have a single problem with it. It ran very smoothly and, despite being a bigger car, was quieter than most cars that I've been in. Air conditioning works great. This is something I've had a problem with in other, newer cars. Nugget: I could fit all of my belongings in one car trip with this car. The trunk space is enormous (although I also used the back seats).

Quality Car
The build and frame of the car is exceptional it is a nice mid-size making it easily noticed but easy to drive. The cloth interior is nice and comfortable even when it is hot outside. The radio is a smooth and rarely static filled. The car has lots of leg room and is comfortable for long rides. The sleek design of the car makes the fuel economy wonderful for those on low budgets. I only have to fill my tank twice a week with 20 dollars, even after traveling over 60 miles round-trip.

Great Reliable Car
My 2002 Gold Buick Century has been a fantastic reliable car. I got it as a freshman in college and have done A LOT of traveling on it and it continues to be very reliable 5 years later. Though not a car that a person my age would normally get because it's widely classified as a "grandma" car it is very spacious and very comfortable. There is one blind spot that I noticed on the drivers side right as someone drives up beside you but has never caused any kind of issue because I knew it was there. The car has had to have breaks replaced, the air conditioning motor replaced, anti-freeze tube replaced and tires replaced. In all I do not think that the price of those items are drastically more or less expensive than the average price for any other vehicle. I have never had to replace anything major but everything minor is relatively normal priced compared to everything else on the market. I can't really say that it was fun to drive but the handling was great and I feel very safe in it.
