Lakewood, CO Consejos de conducción
Try to schedule your driving for odd hours and just except that the freeways leading into and out of the Denver metro area are going to be jammed packed on the weekends. The infrastructure of the city has not kept pace with the influx of people, so expect congestion.
Lakewood, CO Consejos de compra
If you are moving into Colorado, you should be aware that the state has some of the highest insurance premiums in the country, while offering less coverage. Basically, paying more and getting less. License plate fees and tab fees also tend to be more expensive. All things to take into consideration if you are buying a car for the first time in Colorado.

So far my favorite memory from driving around the suburbs of Denver are the people who seem confused as to what to do at a stop sign. I have lost track of the number of times I have seen someone come to a stop sign and then sit there for a minute plus. Sometimes they go straight through; but if they are planning on turning, they won't signal their turn until they have been at the stop sign for at least 30 seconds.

None. Driving around in Denver or its western suburbs is simply a pain in the ass. The roads are in not that great of shape. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to road closures. Roads are often congested. And the drivers are either overly-aggressive (been told that these are all the angry Californians) or high out-of-state pot tourists.
