Four years ago I bought my 1989 Chevy Corvette Coupe. I paid $10,000 for mine and most people think it cost a lot more than that. Mine has an automatic transmission. I get around 30mpg on the highway. I love my car! It is shiny black and boy does it make heads turn! Seeing a hot female in a Corvette-oh yeah! It has that aggressive look to it which makes other sports cars want to race you. The deep throaty sound when you take off from a stop is hot!! I get a lot of compliments on it also. The top comes off in two glass sections and there are slots in the trunk area that they slide down and lock into which is very handy in case it starts to rain and your away from home. Mechanically, I have only had to replace the head gaskets once due to the water pump going out and it overheated. I have never taken my car to a shop to get fixed because when they see a female with a corvette, automatically the prices go sky high. I did both head jobs by myself with the help of a Chiltons book. Keep up your regular maintenance on it and it will last. I wouldn't trade mine for the world.

This is really one of the classics! Jet black with bucket seats and the tee tops are wild for riding in the summer time. Came stock with a 350 cubic inch engine and a two barrel carb. Can accelerate from zero to sixty in about eight seconds. Believe me it's quick! The interior is all black with leather buckets padded steering wheel and dash. Has one of the better four speed automatic transmissions for guaranteed performance.
