When I first looked at a different car to purchase, I saw the mileage and reviews for the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze. In the process of purchasing it, my mechanic mentioned that Chevrolet did not have great success with other smaller sedans but hit it out of the ballpark with the Cruze. It's greatest advantage is the smooth ride that the six speed has. The car signals you at optimal shifting period so that wear and tear is minimal, and the ride continues without the jerking that can happen or the loss of power that one might experience in other cars of its quality. The car is roomy enough for a single person or two, though families would be easily cramped in this vehicle. The trunk room more than makes up for some of the size of the interior.

The car operates very well, and after a little struggle getting going with the six gears, it does great on the road. My mechanic told me that Chevrolet had struggled with the small car market until they came across the Cruze. That explains it all. The car works for an urban world, even with the stick shift. It runs smoothly. The look is about what you would expect, nothing too spectacular, so it won't 'draw attention,' if that's the kind of vehicle you seek for. The worst part about the car is the limitation with the dashboard view and radio, also the sloping of the dashboard makes for awkward positioning for instance if you want to mount something.
