Great family vehicle.
The Chevy Equinox is a great car. It's durable, dependable, and easy to manage. I've had my 2011 for six months, and I've had little to no problems. It makes you feel safe, knowing that you're in an American-made vehicle. I love the two-toned interior, it makes it feel a little special. We're about to take it on a 40-hour road trip, and I have all the confidence in the world that it will hold all of our stuff and survive all those miles. I like feeling tall when I drive. I feel like I can see more, and this car does that for me. I'm also a huge fan of the color, can't go wrong with plain white. The cruise control works, and it's equipped with OnStar and XM Radio. Plus this thing is easy to clean. I used to work at a car wash, and these cars were always some of the favorites to clean because the carpet doesn't trap the grass/dirt. The only problem I've had with this particular vehicle is that the tire sensors are all out-of-whack. It says the front left tire is low but we filled it and checked it manually, and it's completely fine. I'm sure we can just reset that at a tire place or with our mechanic. Overall, if you're looking for a good vehicle for your family or even if you just like this type of SUV, this is a great option.

Difficult to drive
The car has held up admirably. It has a key feature of no lip for entering/exiting, making it easy for a limited mobility person to navigate, but it is difficult to drive. The A-Pillar interferes with driver visibility, making it particularly treacherous in-city.

Very solid car
The Equinox is all around a great car. It is well made, has a very comfortable interior and an attractive exterior. It looks like a classy vehicle, but it does not break the bank. In terms of performance, the car runs great on all types of terrain, whether it be residential or a highway. I live in a state with notoriously poor roads, but the Equinox easily traverses it with no problems. It has a very solid sound system, and the seats are comfortable. Equipped with good A/C and heating, so your ride will be comfortable no matter the weather outside. It is also a very spacious car. I am in a band and frequently have to move music equipment, and there is always plenty of space in the car.
