I really like my equinox; It's not too big, but it's big enough to haul what I need. The rear window is a little small, but with a few stick on mirrors, I can eliminate the blind spot it creates. It has a lot of fancy bells and whistles that I am still getting used to, but overall I really enjoy my car. I like being up higher and able to see more of my surroundings.

I feel like this car is a great in between for a couple just starting a family. We still wanted to avoid a minivan for now but needed the extra space for a car seat. We also needed space for our 60-pound pup that goes with us everywhere. I like that the interior is black, since my daughter is always spilling some sort of cracker or cereal, and my dog always has muddy paws from the dog park. The seats clean off nicely. The back seats fold down, which is nice, but they do not fold flat to the trunk which leaves a bump and does not allow for easy loading of big items. We wish the gas mileage was better, but given that I drive about two hours every day, it is not too bad. The center console has a lot of nice space for storage. I have a lot of dog treats and snacks for my daughter. Additionally, there are multiple plugs for AV cords and USB chargers, which is nice for the multiple phones that enter the car.
