2007 Chevrolet Equinox - Unfavorable.
My spouse and I purchased a used 2007 Chevrolet Equinox in 2010. Overall, the quality of the vehicle itself was good, but we had major issues with a leaky sunroof. We brought it to the dealership and had them fix it twice, and we fixed it twice ourselves. Anytime a heavy rain comes, the floorboard fills with one–three inches of water. Because of this, we need to replace the carpet and the seats, because all of the metal parts have rusted. The SUV is currently parked under a garage and is unusable. We also can not sell it in the condition that it is in... so we're stuck with it. I would only recommend someone to buy this vehicle if it didn't come with a sun roof.

My family and I took a trip to Tennessee. We enjoyed the trip in this vehicle.
A Favor
The top positive things about this vehicle is that it is good on gas mileage. It also has a lot of room in the trunk area.
En Contra
Other than the sunroof problem (see above), we have had problems with the vent fan. Even after having it replaced, sometimes it does not want to kick on.
2012 Chevrolet Equinox - Great Family Car with Excellent Gas Mileage
In my opinion, this a very comfortable car with an easy to use vehicle information menu. It has plenty of rear cargo space to store all of the necessities for my family of two including stroller, luggage for vacation, and groceries. The console, front storage compartment, and passenger map pocket allows me plenty of space for my on-the-go work as an active Realtor.

Sunday errands with my two kids. We love to roll the windows down, play fun songs, and sing loudly.
A Favor
For me, the Bluetooth system is excellent and a much need feature for my line of work. The calls are clear, and the system is easy to connect and use. I also love the fuel efficiency of this vehicle. By using the Eco mode, I save a ton of money every month on gas.
En Contra
My top negative for this car is that it does not have rear air conditioning, and I wish I would have realized this before I made my purchase. I live in Louisiana and while enduring the extreme summer heat, rear A/C is a must. It does not effect me as the driver, but I definitely have to take into consideration to cool off the car before putting my two kids in the backseat.
