The reliability of the Chevrolet Equinox has exceeded my expectations. I drive this small SUV and average of 80 miles per day on my commute to and from work. The gas mileage is above average at 24 mpg. The interior is comfortable and roomy: I'm six foot five inches and two hundred and fifty pounds and have plenty of leg room. The LS is the basic as far as options but still well appointed with AM/FM/SiriusXM radio, cruise control, power windows, power door locks, and more. The ride is comfortable and quiet. The cargo area is quite large for this size of vehicle with the rear seats folded flat. The second-row bench seat is also adjustable. The only things I have done to the Equinox are regular maintenance items: oil changes every 5,000 miles, rotate and balance the tires, regular brake service. I purchased this vehicle based on consumer reviews and have been extremely happy with the value and everyday driving of it.

Our Chevy Equinox has over 100,000 miles on it and it still a very smooth, comfortable ride - no interior rattling and the exterior quality is still great. The interior still looks and smells new. The fabric used for the seats is extremely durable and has held up well. We've had to provide very little maintenance to the car other than routine oil changes and check ups. It has been very reliable and comfortable. The fuel economy is fair - ~25 mpg on average. The storage is great as we've have been able to fit two bikes in the back with the back seats folded down.
