My Chevy Impala is a workhorse. It is ten years old and currently has 153K miles. Besides general maintenance (oil change, brakes, etc.), it has not needed repairs until just recently. It does well in the snow and performs well on the highway. It gets decent gas mileage (usually around 25 mpg). It has a very large, deep trunk which is definitely helpful for road trips and my camping excursions.

I was pleasantly surprised at the fuel efficiency in my flex fuel 2007 Impala, over 26 MPG in the city over and 29 MPG highway . Good performance in the winter on snowy icy roads. It now has about 94,000 miles on it and still gets great mileage. Tire wear and brakes held up nicely. Only maintenance was to replace the struts at 90,000 miles.
