2006 Chevrolet Impala - Decent vehicle
This vehicle is a large family sedan. It drives smooth and gets decent gas mileage. It has a strong feeling thru the steering wheel. It has larger size 17 inch tires. This vehicle has a 3.9l engine. It has aux for listening to your mp3 player. It has an automatic transmission.
Historia
When I first purchased this vehicle, I didn't realize when you forget to cut off turn signal a voice will remind you. I was driving up the street and heard the voice and I thought I was hearing things.
A Favor
It has four doors and is roomy inside. Its easy to handle and has nice get up and go acceleration. It offers a roomy trunk and OnStar.
En Contra
This vehicle has a history of gear shifter needing to be replaced. It gets stuck and you have to manually shift into gear. It also has a history of problems with the blend door actuators. They fail and start to click constantly. I've replaced two out of four and a third needs replacing. At a cost of $900, this is outrageous. GM needs to do a recall on this as it is a very common problem.
