2012 Chevrolet Impala - Overall, a solid first car
The vehicle has been great, gas mileage is fantastic, and has been a good car overall. I have not had any technical issues with the car, other than the general tail light being out or head light being out. Generally speaking, the car is a reliable, affordable and a good-looking car. Though this not directly related to the car, I have had issues with the car's tires being blown out more times than I would have liked. The engine runs great. It's 156k miles and counting.
Historia
The many road trips on open roads with my family made for great times in that car.
A Favor
Fuel mileage is fantastic for in town and highway. I usually never have to fuel up for a long time. The engine has ran good, and the battery is honestly the best in its class. The car is extremely comfortable for being a lower-sized car and sporty without being a sports car. There is plenty of leg room, making road trips a nice car ride.
En Contra
Other than the tires being not exactly up to par, which I don't even think that is directly correlated to the car, the car ran great. Even at 156,000 miles, the car runs like it did with 50,000 miles.
2010 Chevrolet Impala - Ticky ticky
Overall, I liked the value of the car. We bought it secondhand, but the price was great. I especially loved the bright red cherry color. The car is comfortable, and does not give any engine trouble. That's a great thing to me. Always knowing the car will start when I turn it on. But, personally, I find the car needs a lot of gas to get going. Initially, you have to press hard on it, but once it's in motion, boy, it really have some get and go.
Historia
When I pull up to my friends house, especially driving something else, they always ask, did you get a new car. This car even though it's 6 years old already, always look like it's new.
A Favor
I love the way the door closes. It sounds really powerful. And, it has really sharp brakes. I love the pull down seat in the back. My son can fit his cello in the trunk by pulling down one seat in the back. That's also great for shopping when you don't want it to obvious that you're putting something in the trunk.
En Contra
I think the seats are too close, more leg room for the back would be great. There isn't a key that opens the trunk.
