Chevrolet Impala Usados en Venta en Houghton, MI

My 2008 Impala has 120,000 miles on it. I have driven 100,000 of those miles. The nicer aspects of this vehicle are the interior. It contains very nice looking fake wood trim and all interior options function well. It offers a comfortable ride and has a lot of space. I work as an engineer and am constantly driving boxes of test parts around and have the trunk space I need to accommodate boxes of prototypes I designed. The poor qualities however, out weigh the nicer aspects of this vehicle. There seem to be lots of rattles and road noise when driving. Also, I am constantly needing wheel alignments and no GM dealership I've taken it to can give me a reason why. Tires seem to be needed more than normal on this vehicle and there is a lot of small things that have needed to be replaced.

Cosmetically, the 2007 Impala isn't the most attractive car. I've had moldings fall off multiple times, and the front bumper is very flimsy plastic. Outside of that, the car has been a beast. 250,000 miles in 6 years and it's still my every day driver. The backseat is small, but the trunk is so large that you can fit luggage for 4 people on a week long vacation. There have been zero service issues with this car in the time I've owned it, outside of work that was warrantied, and has not been a problem since. It's by no means a luxury vehicle, but for someone like me, who drives an hour each way to work every day, the 27 mpg average fuel economy is a bonus in a car that is big enough to make you feel safe if you were to ever get in an accident. Seat coverings are to be expected, however the sub seat itself seems to be pretty barbaric. Overall, when taking into consideration the costs and benefits involved with owning this vehicle, it has been a complete win-win situation for me. If you are looking for a luxury vehicle, or status symbol, this isn't the car for you, but if you are looking for a "steady Eddy," everyday workaholic car, this meets the qualifications.
