Extremely Reliable and Low Operating Cost.
I bought my 2005 Malibu used from a dealership. The car is a nice, clean, dark blue color. It doesn't show a lot of dirt on it. It is a bit boxy but it still has curves to it. I've taken it on several 1000 mile trips and it is pretty comfortable. After about 8 hours my back begins to hurt but I'm pretty sure that would happen in any vehicle. It is extremely spacious for a 4 door sedan. My wife and I can fit everything we need for a two week trip. The trunk is nice and can fit a bicycle in it if need be. The engine is pretty small for the size of car but it has enough get up and go to get us around. No problems on the highway at all. It runs fairly quietly and has great visibility. I've only taken it to the shop for issues on 3 occasions. The catalytic converter failed and was replaced under warranty. The brakes warped after being in high altitudes but they were able to be buffed back into working order. And there was a minor fender bender that resulted in a bit of body work. Other than those incidents, the car has only been in for regular maintenance, which is extremely affordable. It isn't necessarily the most fun to drive. It does what it needs to and that's about it. It handles quite well in most conditions. Snow does not seem to hinder the handling much. I feel very much in control of the car when I am driving.

Chevy Malibu Great Comfortable Family Car for Cheap
The 2005 Chevy Malibu is a great car for a single person, or a person with a family. There are no blind spots on the car, and the car overall is really sturdy. I have had no major issues with the car (knock on wood) even as the mileage is about 130,000. This car has no noises so to speak, but there is a popping sound from the wheel when you turn left. This is a factory issue, because mass people have complained about it online, and has been there since day one. The best thing about this car is that if you are tall, it is comfortable. It also has a sort of sport look to it, so it don't look like an old person's car. It can go from zero to 100 pretty fast, and don't feel heavy when you steer it. It gets about 30 miles per gallon highway which is nice too. Overall, maintenance is pretty low, you don't have to spend a lot of money to keep this car going, and parts are reasonable.
