2005 Chevrolet Malibu - Reliable but not the best
This Malibu was originally my grandfather's. After he passed, I inherited it. Now, Chevy is a reliable company but I do not particularly care too much for it. It does get decent mileage on top of taking regular unleaded gas, which is a large plus for me. Doesn't run that well, but I cannot complain. I had a car prior, a Mercedes E320, that I miss dearly but that was harder and more costly to work on.
Historia
I have been on plenty of longer journeys and it stays cost effective. However, newer models have better milage.
A Favor
It takes unleaded, regular gas. My previous car took premium which, needless to say, was far more expensive. Seeing as it is a Chevy and American made, I am able to get it worked on cheaper and in a larger variety of places. Takes the cheapest oil, not hard to change on my own either. Relatively comfortable. It has a sun roof that I couldn't go without on my next car. Overall I would rate this car as a 60 out of 100. Not my first choice but not the worst.
En Contra
I do not like the construction of this car. The radio is built in with the air conditioning unit making it almost possible to replace, especially without having auxiliary ports. It has a reminder system when the fuel is low, below 40 miles to be exact, but I wish that it just told me how many miles I had left. The interior is cloth which can stain easily. It is also grey instead, making it look quite drab. It feels like an old person car lol.
2009 Chevrolet Malibu - Very reliable and nice looking, with only a few minor problems.
I love the way it looks. The body has smooth lines that give it a sleek appearance. Mine is silver with a black interior, which has some faux wood trims. Seats are heated and leather/suede combination. I have over 115,000 miles (I purchased it at a little over 50,000 miles) with no significant problems. The check engine light came on once but went away before long and hasn't reappeared. After having a tire replaced due to a leak, the tire pressure reader (that displays the tire pressure on the dash) wouldn't work, but this turned out to be the mechanics fault and was easily fixed.
Historia
I have lots of good memories picking up my boyfriend from the airport near our college when he would come back from vacations at his home across the country.
A Favor
I like the appearance. It has enough room (seats five) and storage space in the trunk to suit my needs. The vehicle has a nice weight to it that newer cars somehow seem to lack. I haven't had anything break or fail due to bad parts yet.
En Contra
The turn radius isn't very good, so parking in tight spaces in crowded lots can be difficult at times. There isn't much leg room for taller drivers above 6 ft., which isn't a problem for me but could be for taller people and passengers. The car doesn't have four-wheel drive, so driving in snow and heavy rain is sketchy.

2012 Chevrolet Malibu - Rk Chevrolet Virginia Beach
The new salesman was as excited to sell me a car as I was to buy one. They entire team went above and beyond to complete financing and my gm discounts were used in maximum capacity. My out of state registration was done without mishap. Above all they were friendly and not pushy.

This car dealership had a nice waiting area with free coffee and a vending machine. The people helping you with the vehicle purchase were very nice. They had great vehicles to chose from and great prices. They were a little slow when it came to completing the paperwork to finish the sale, but were very friendly while doing the paperwork.
