I have enjoyed the outstanding quality and performance of my Tahoe. It has had very few mechanical problems and been very dependable. The interior has had some wear over the years but overall the seats and upholstery remain in good condition. The one major drawback is gas mileage. It tends to be a "gas-guzzler" and it can be expensive to keep the tank filled. The best part if this vehicle is the road performance. I really enjoy being higher up off the road as it improves my view. I feel very safe in this vehicle and would definitely recommend it to my friends. I have also enjoyed the style and look of my Tahoe, the paint has not faded or cracked and all the trim still looks good. The seating capacity is also excellent, I can comfortably fit 6 adult passengers. The handling is also better than I expected in a big SUV, never worry about stability or performance in bad weather.

When we first bought our car we were very impressed with the smooth ride, roominess, and even the decent mileage for such a large vehicle. Unfortunately, after less that two years of ownership our car has major engine problems, which we have come to find is very common with this make and model. Apparently the cam shaft and other parts of the engine are damagee and repairs are estimated from $3,000 to $4,000. We are still making payments on this car. This car has been noted to have a problem with excessive oil consumption that we were not aware of until it broke down.
