Wish they still made this SUV.
I bought my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer in 2008 when I was looking for a vehicle that would be able to tow my 3600+ pound boat to and from the boat ramp and on longer trips. I was hoping it would last me four years. Well, here it is, 2017 and my Trailblazer is still running great. It is over 12 years old and has over 130,000 miles on it. I keep thinking that I'm going to have to start spending a lot of money on it, but all I've been needing to do is regular maintenance. The Trailblazer is great for other tasks besides towing a boat. The back seats fold down to make for a large cargo area to transport bulky items. I like the back hatch, because it makes it easy to load and unload large items as well as regular grocery purchases. When the back seats are not folded down, the Trailblazer seats 5 people and there is a nice amount of leg room for the back seat passengers. Unlike other SUVs I've driven in, the Trailblazer does ride more like a truck than a car, so this can be a drawback for some people. It is a comfortable ride, but not as "smooth" as a car. Plus, like many other SUV's, the fuel economy is not as good as with a car. Unfortunately, Chevy stopped making the Trailblazer so I'm going to have to find a new favorite SUV when this one dies.

A true workhorse in comfort
I have always liked Chevrolet, having owned Astros for years. I did not, however, expect to like the Trailblazer as much as I did. It has given me very little issue mechanically, and seems to be very forgiving of the long neglect to routine maintenance. The engine is quite responsive and rides well at high speeds. I have towed a large camper o the back of the vehicle, and it did a thousand mile trip like a champ, even with 150,000 miles on the odometer. I drove as well in the North, and admired its ability to track in the show and stay on the road. On the interior, I am a big guy and still found the cab very roomy. The seats were wonderful, both in my opinion and my wife/ We travelled extensively through the states in tis vehicle. The sound system was a feature I liked as well, powerful enough with great speakers. I also cannot begin to think of all the stuff I carried in ad on that truck. The cargo area was quite large, and with the seats folded down. It would always surprise you.
