Great minivan.
I never thought I'd be a minivan person, but the Town and Country has changed my mind! I don't think I'd go back to an SUV again for my 3 kids. There is a ton of room for everyone to fit comfortably, and the DVD player is easy to use and keeps the kids occupied on long car rides. The seats fold up and disappear, which is great when we have a lot of stuff or the dogs with us. It is also great for storage when the seats are upright. There is an abundance of cup holders, and the sliding doors are incredibly helpful for the kids. We have driven the heck out of this van and have had no real issues after 3 years and 90,000 miles. We have only had to do minor repairs. The one thing that I wish the car had was the ability to tell you what tires are low when the low air light comes on. My previous car (a Chevy) would tell you exactly what the tire pressure was for all 4 tires, making it a quick fix when there was a problem. Often, the light comes on when weather goes from warm to cold, which is expected, but it takes forever to manually figure out which tires need how much air, and even after we fill the tires it takes forever for the light to go off. The back seats are also a little off center, making it hard for certain car seats.

Reliable Gas Guzzler
This is a sturdy van, front wheel drive. Great in ice and snow conditions. ABS system is a must for rainy days, hills, terrain given to Pennsylvania potholes. Interior is natural, deteriorated leather due to sun and heat. Paint is surprisingly still on the hood, as with most of them, the paint peels off. The stereo is functional. The garage door opener is functional. The only thing with the small stuff, I purchased the van with the key fob to open the doors, and it worked fine for a week, then died. Subsequent batteries to fit the fob didn't work, ones that did, the fob died. The van is comfortable, sort of like driving a lazy boy chair around. It also has heated seats, great for PMS days and back aches. Transmission went out three times, was replaced three times. I removed the bench seat and seat out to go camping.

This is our first minivan and we love it so far. So far it has been reliable and comfortable to drive and ride in. My children love the two pop-down televisions and the leg room in the back seats. This particular model comes equipped with both a DVD player as well as a Blu-Ray player. I like that I can play either disc, but I hate that if you play a Blu-Ray it will not remember the last location and you have to cycle through all the previews and menus to play it again. My wife loves the heated seats and heated steering wheel, but if it did not come equipped with them the alcantara suede seats do not really feel very cold in the winter or hot in the summer. I love how simple it is to start the vehicle using the remote start, how I can open the kids door for them using the fob, and that the vehicle unlocks when I approach it without even pushing a button. I also like the safety features that it comes with including side airbags, reverse camera with alarm, and also a blind spot indicator located in the side-view mirrors. This van has been the nicest vehicle we have ever owned and great for our growing family. We are able to get all the luxuries of some of the more expensive minivans without the crazy price tag.
