I kept this minivan until I had driven it about 80,000 miles. The outside looks more modern and updated than the caravans from a few years before, with a nice looking grill and large, alloy wheels, although the radio antenna is still of an older design and would often hit low hanging branches. The interior of the vehicle was quite appealing, with black trim and carpet, black and grey seats and plenty of storage space. There is a center console, two glove compartments as well as a drawer under the passenger seat, the van also has numerous cup holders. The 2014 model has a CD player but no USB ports anywhere. The build of the interior was satisfactory and I never had a problem with rattles or troubling noises. The van has a V6 engine, front wheel drive and an automatic transmission. The acceleration is rather sluggish due to the weight of the vehicle and the economy mode makes this worse. Gas mileage is poor, I was averaging about 17mpg on rural roads. From day one my biggest complaint about the Grand Caravan was its transmission, it was constantly doing things that made me worry about its reliability, it would feel like it was slipping in reverse and would cause the car to shudder when accelerating up a hill. In economy mode it was very laggy and almost felt like it had a mind of its own. This may have been a problem with my particular vehicle though. Overall I was satisfied with the 2014 Grand Caravan. It was great for hauling people, groceries, or hardware around and served its purpose well.

We own a Dodge Grand Caravan. What we like the best about this car is that it is a great size for our family of five. When we go on road trips, there is plenty of space for packing especially since it has compartments for storage under the floor boards. The trunk has great storage space, and it also has a rack on top if you need to have a car-top carrier. You can also add a hitch if you would like to pull a small trailer or have a bike carrier in the back. We are very happy with this car, and it has held up very well!
