This is one of the best family friendly vehicles I have ever owned. The is plenty of passenger room, it seats 5 regularly and is also available with an optional third-row seat that will accommodate an additional three passengers. There is so much storage space in this vehicle that you may never use all of it. Multiple hidden compartments beneath the floor in front of the rear seats, the rear cargo area where the spare tire usually is placed is an excellent storage unit, and also in the floor in front of the passenger seat. Aside from those compartments, the middle console, glovebox, and doors offer the normal amount of storage. There is also a cooled compartment above the glovebox for storing anything you may need to keep cool. Aside from all the storage, the available V6 engine has enough power and fuel economy to please anyone. It handles well and looks get to-boot. Although, it is not the best vehicle to drive in the snow. It slides at times and may be difficult to get up and going from a stop. For this reason alone, I was unable to give the Dodge Journey a 5-star rating.
