Used Dodge Ram 1500 for Sale in San Diego, CA

I bought this truck used in 2014. I was in desperate need of a vehicle, and I'm glad this one fell into my lap. It was the Ram 1500 Lariat, 4 Door with the 5.9L has engine. The engine came with 126,000 miles. And even though the engine was old, all I had to do was a little tune up and she purred like a kitten. The tune up included plug wires and plugs along with an oil change and tranny flush. After doing all that, the truck tows like there is no tomorrow. I had no issues pulling my 3,800lb car and trailer up through the hills. One of the things I do not like about the vehicle are the brakes. The front rotors are a little small for the size of the truck. And the rears came with drums. It didn't take much to overheat the rotors and the rear drums were constantly sticking... even after replacing multiple times. Another thing I did not like was the interior. The plastic trim was just that, very plasticy. I felt as if Dodge just didn't a try with the interior.

Overall I think this is a great truck. It drives smooth, has a powerful engine and I haven't had any problems with it engine or mechanical wise. There is tons of space in the back so you never feel crowded. There is a back up camera that helps you back up. I custom built mine so I even have an outlet in the front that I can use to plug in whatever I need to.
