After I graduated from college and was hired in my first 'grown-up' position, I treated myself to a used 2012 Fiat 500 with 8,000 miles. I paid for the majority of the car and financed the rest to build credit. The first year with the car was great, but shortly after, the build quality and mechanical issues started to come in to play. After a particular cold day, it died and stranded me, and after towing to the dealership, the faults were repaired under warranty. The interior has not held up well in the five years I've had it, and the trunk will no longer open. For its size, it doesn't have that great of gas mileage, and it takes premium gas. That being said, it is a blast to drive (though a bit under powered) and does decently in the snow.
