My Ford Escape is perfect for me. I love the package I have that includes the power moon roof and the towing package. With the V6 FWD engine, it has the oomph to go anywhere and conquer anything. It has plenty of storage space for all my gear and shopping in the back. The gas mileage has been fantastic, especially for me since I tend to drive it like a rally car. I do wish the back seat had more leg room. I don't carry people that often, but when I do they get a bit cramped. I've had the car for 10 years now and it has held up well overall. The air has recently gone out, but it is an easy fix. The not so easy fix is some of the interior components (headliner, door panels, center console) are really starting to show their age and fall apart. The engine though is still running strong with not a single issue! The bright blue color is not what I wanted, but it is beautiful and even looks good when dirty.

Overall, this is a great, small SUV. I purchased my Escape used with 129,000 miles on it. I have put an additional 25,000 miles on it with no mechanical or electrical issues, besides a small recall part issued by Ford. This Escape get decent gas mileage about 24 to 26 mpg. It is an extremely comfortable car to ride in. I have driven it on four 12-hour road trips and have had no issue riding in it for that length of time. Runs perfectly smooth on the interstate, even with the more rigid tires I put on it. While this model is not 4-wheel drive, it was able to handle some off-road, mountainous roads while I was in Colorado. In all, this is a great car.
