Gas hog
The styling is fine on the car. It's not too old of a design, but it's not the newer sporty designs either. I am not a huge fan of the look, but just because the newer models look sportier and more streamlined. The car is very spacious and comfortable in the front. The back seat is rather awkward to sit in, it has ok foot room but it's just very flat. Trunk has an ok amount of room, it's a hatch back SUV but the middle seat doesn't move, and when it does fold down it doesn't fold flat, so it makes putting stuff in the car rather difficult. There are many blind spots on this car, that I really hate. The beams on the back end of the car are very wide and I've actually been in one accident in my life and it was because a pole was hidden behind the huge beams. It hasn't been in the shop that often at 130k miles, but it did have to have the engine replaced near 100k. I hate the gas mileage on this, but I was used to a smaller vehicle, so perhaps this is why. Repair costs are fair. Performance is good, it has good acceleration and braking, it's harder to park because of the size though. It's a big car, so it's not as fun to drive, especially with the gas mileage being bad I don't like taking it for rides unless I have to go somewhere. I always feel in control when driving this vehicle.

Ford Escape
I am a big fan of my Ford Escape. It has the power and ability to get around in all weather conditions of an sports utility vehicle; however, it also handles and has the fuel economy like a car. I bought my first one in 2016, and then again, I purchased another in 2017. I find the Ford Escape to be a great vehicle and would and have recommended them to my friends and family. I have worked and managed dealerships for the past fifteen years and believe that gives my opinion a bit more credence.
