Your 97' Ford Expedition is one of the Titanic’s of SUV or trucks on the road today. It's great for family outings such as camping, boating trips on the lake or just the average sports weekend with the kids. Size is great, while the style can be enhanced with aftermarket tires and rims to give it that little touch of you to it. Roof rack is also handy for strapping down your articles such as bikes, surf boards etc.(If not towing them). Maintenance of the vehicle is fair with it being an American made automobile, parts if needed are readily available. As long as routine maintenance is upheld, there wouldn’t be too many trips to the shop. Also being an XLT you, family & friends have plenty of room to stretch out on the leather seats provided. Some may also have a third row seat to accommodate 8 people total. With a 26 gallon gas tank the mpg could be better but you'd have to keep in mind how heavy the vehicle is. Performance is like any other vehicle. Proper maintenance adds to peak performance.

What I really love the most about this car is how durable it is. It has outlasted many tough off-road terrains without substantial damage. It is also a very elegant and stylish car.
