Used Ford Explorer for Sale in Gibson City, IL

I love my Ford Explorer. I purchased the new body type in 2006. The edges are a bit rounder than the old boxy type. The cargo space is exceptional. With third row seating there's enough room for the family, the dog, and grandma. The radio has a sync function that was offered with the vehicle for my iPhone. The vehicle is exceptionally comfortable. Bumps on the road are seamless in this vehicle. The back row pulls down for more cargo space. It's great for loading a full round of groceries and more. The roof racks also help with loading luggage when on long car trips. With this much room you could essentially even camp in the back if you had to. Ths downside is the gas mileage. It's a gas hog. The Explorer is definitely better on long road trips than on short ones. Overall I love this vehicle and would purchase it again. I would also make sure to have all the add-ons that I have such as heated seats, Sirius radio, and the extended warranty.

This is probably the best car I've ever owned. Between the mileage (about 16-18 MPG, great for an SUV), interior build, and overall sleek style, I love everything about it. I have 105,000 miles on it and have had little to no problems with the car. I also really enjoy the head and legroom, as I am a taller person and comfort is key. Having the ability to link my phone to the radio and make/answer calls wirelessly is also great, as it is illegal to be on the phone while driving in my state. The maroon color is nice and unique and makes the car easy to spot in crowded parking lots. The trunk space is nice, and it make my recent move very easy. Plus, the third row of seats is nice if you're ever looking to transport a big group of people. I also love that my dog can comfortably fit inside. One thing I wish was that you could control the radio from the backseat, as you could do in previous Explorer models, but I don't often sit in the backseat.
