Ford Explorer Usados en Venta en Upper Sandusky, OH

I bought the car used and even though it is 14 years old it still runs pretty well. However, I have had to invest quite a bit of money into maintenance and upkeep.

I purchased this car thinking it would be a great addition to our family, but unfortunately it has failed to meet expectations. Early on we had issues with the cooling fan and the Ford Lync System. Both required replacements and fortunately they were both under warranty. The worst, however, was a catastrophic cooling fan failure that occurred at roughly 78,000 miles on the odometer and just over 5 years in to ownership. The engine block cracked and the entire engine needed to be replaced. Ford helped a bit with the payment, but we ultimately had to pay ~$3000 to repair the engine. I was not expecting this type of repair for a car that was only 5 years old. I was very disappointed and will never purchase a Ford again.
