2008 Ford Explorer - Awesome car
This car is a tank and I love it. Despite it being a somewhat larger SUV, it has an amazing turn radius. I'm easily able to flip a U-turn in my neighborhood. Gas mileage isn't the best, but it's incredibly reliable. When it was purchased, it had 50,000 miles on it, and we have experienced zero issues with it (short of the one mentioned below).
Historia
When I was loading up boxes during my last move, we loaded the last box and my husband asked where the rest of all my stuff was. I asked what he meant, he said, "the car's not even half full!" I said, "you're telling me. Isn't it roomy?!"
A Favor
I love how extremely roomy the back is. As a college student I was able to move all of my possessions (short of large furniture) in it in two loads. My two medium dogs have plenty of space in the back seat to lie down. My toddler's car seat fits easily, and the in-seat car seat hooks make taking it in and out of the car easier than easy. I love that we have towing capability in something other than a truck, and it handles in the ice and snow like a dream. I love the stereo has Bluetooth capabilities and will automatically sync to my phone.
En Contra
Our moon roof eventually sprung a leak. This isn't necessarily the fault of the car but rather just moon/sun roofs in the Pacific Northwest in general. There is just too much rain in this area. The gas mileage is not as great as I would prefer. My husband's F150 gets better gas mileage than this car.

2003 Ford Explorer - Vancouver Ford
I was looking for a ford explorer or ford escape. They showed me a lot of options for each model with different prices. I found one that I really liked.
