Overall, the truck has been good to us. In the beginning, we had a few major problems with it. One day we heard an awful noise coming from the engine. That is when we found out that there is spark plug issues with this particular year. The spark plug holes get deformed, causing problems with the engine. This is fixed with some type of coil being placed in the spark plug hole. Once we did this, the truck ran great. However, it is a known problem that Ford should have recalled and fixed it since it is costly and a manufacturer defect. The truck handles well in the winter and gets us everywhere that we want to go. We decided to go with the leather interior since we felt it would be durable and hold up well with the kids. It has been durable and only the last few years has it started to show its wear, mainly on driver's seat where we had a seat cover on. Having a black truck has been wonderful. When we drive in the woods and the tree branches scratch the truck, the scratches are hardly noticeable. We use our truck as a work horse. Hauling loads of wood. Pulling a camper. Take a trailer full of ATVs. It pulls most of these with ease. Overall, it has been a decent truck.

The Ford f-150 turned out to be the all around perfect vehicle for me. I like to build a lot and trips back and forth to the lumber yard are never easy in anything but a truck, but I also have a family so I needed something that could hold all three car seats. This truck had more than enough width to fit all three seats and was long enough in the bed to hold just about anything I needed to carry. As for durability, I we very pleased with this vehicle. Besides normal maintenance, I have only had to take it in once for a suspension issue that was fixed within a day. Since I also use this as my daily driver, I was afraid I was going to lose out on comfort but was pleasantly surprised with all the extra amenities I was able to have in this truck. I haven't needed to do any upgrades to this truck because it came stock with everything that I needed. When I finally need to retire this truck I will be sure to shop once again in the Ford family because of how well this truck was worked for me. I may go one step bigger just because I like the look of the F-250s and wouldn't mind having an even larger truck. But for now, this truck has been more than enough for me.
