2006 Ford F-150 - Worth the payment.
I purchased said vehicle about a year ago. The Ford F-150 has been amazing and the best vehicle I have owned in a long time. There is only one complaint I have about this vehicle, which is the rust. On a more positive note, the engine is still running strong at 175,000 miles the transmission is smooth, and the overall feel of the vehicle is amazing. Obviously there is wear and tear in the inside of the vehicle but compared to other vehicles I have owned this one sure beats them all. It far exceeded my expectations for a truck I paid $2700 for.
Historia
My husband and I got a flat tire, and as soon as the tire started getting extremely loud the gas light came on. It didn't help that the day prior someone faked being broken down and stole a good Samaritans car.
A Favor
The engine is strong as well as the transmission.
En Contra
It rusts out very easily.
2011 Ford F-150 - Would buy again
We bought this truck when Ford's Ecoboost engine first came out. The engine has more than lived up to the hype and we would purchase again. Great pickup, good gas mileage.

You are able to smoke anyone in a similar pickup at a stoplight.
A Favor
Able to really speed up on an onramp, which not a lot of pickups find easy to do. Drives nimbly for such a big truck. Has never ever complained about towing or heavy loads.
En Contra
A couple of stupid things - Microsoft operating system powering the navigation and radio is awful. Just as big of a stupid thing is placement of power outlet with a flimsy door on the back of the arm rest. Requires acrobatic ability to plug anything in, and door snaps off as soon as you look at it.
