We bought a Ford F-150 Super Crew pick up truck when we still had children living at home. We were not looking for a truck and had not owned a truck before. We saw that the room inside this four-door truck was more than most sedans, plus it had the outside room in the truck bed for hauling cargo. Our model also had the opening sun roof. This truck is not too high off the ground, which makes it easy to get in and out of the vehicle. The back seats are roomy enough for three adults. There are bucket seats in the front with a big storage console in the middle. The bed of the truck is not full size. It is six-feet long with the tail gate closed, and it is eight-feet long with the tail gate open. I have an eight-foot fiberglass dinghy that fits perfectly in the back with the tail gate down. The truck has a powerful V-8 engine, which provides plenty of power, even when towing a 20-foot ski boat. The fuel economy of the truck seems to be reasonable. Our truck has 236,000 miles on it, and the engine is still running well.

This truck has a full cab, thus making it roomy for up to four passengers, you would never know you are in a truck when riding in it. It handles very well in all weather conditions, feeling like one is driving a tall car. Needless to say, though it sport s short bed, it is more than able to handle large and heavy loads, including entire rolls of livestock hay or up to as many as 100 bags of feed 50 lbs. each PLUS added bales of hay. And it still drives as if your were in a car. The pulling and towing power is unsurpassed, it can breeze down the highway pulling a 26 foot travel trailer or a four horse trailer fully loaded and it stays stable, you could literally still drive it with one finger and would not know you had a trailer behind you till you looked out of the power side mirrors.
