2001 Ford F-150 - Very dependable and tough
This has been a very tough truck. I love the crew cab. The space that it has is much better than the competitor's trucks. This truck goes very well off-road but is also a pleasure to take on the highway.
Historia
I take my truck where my friends only take their ATVs. This gives me great joy because it will go where I want and be comfortable doing it.
A Favor
I love the space and size of the truck. It runs well and gets good gas mileage for a truck. It will haul anything that I want to put in the back. It will tow anything I hook behind it. I can take it camping or put my family in it and take a road trip.
En Contra
The only con I see is the 4.6 liter motor. It does not have the power that I would like to have in a v8.
2004 Ford F-150 - Dependable old red.
The truck just works. Hardly had any mechanical issues other than normal wear and tear. Easy to work on, simple design. Truck is functional for wide range of uses, on-road, off-road, hauling, towing. Doesn't have the tow/haul capacity of current era half-ton pickups but still holds its own.

Hauling boats, campers, helping friends and family move, hunting, fishing, sleeping in the bed.
A Favor
Rugged. Solid build. Under the hood laid out well for shade-tree mechanic troubleshooting and repair. FX4 off-road package provides solid tow/haul capacity for half-ton pickup.
En Contra
Supercab a bit cramped for backseat riders. Due to age of vehicle, latest technology features not available (backup camera, Bluetooth/hands free, etc.). Suicide doors less convenient.
