I definitely recommend the 2016 F150 Ecoboost!
I upgraded to the 2016 F150 with the Ecoboost motor, and wow. The Ford 3.5L Ecoboost is a rock solid engine with lots of power and a reputation for reliability. I have experienced zero major or minor mechanical issues so far and have over 21,000 miles. It is great being able to haul 2x4s and 4x8 sheets of plywood for all my woodworking projects. I upgraded from a 2009 Jeep Wrangler and even got 25% better fuel economy.
