Last summer I moved cross country. I looked for a deal on a U haul, and the cheapest option I found was over 4000 dollars! For that amount of money I decided I could just buy a used pickup. I've had my F150 for 8 months now, and it was the smartest purchase I've ever made. It has a full size bed, great for furniture. It has a Triton V8 that provided more than enough power to tow my other car behind it over three different mountain ranges. The best part is that once I arrived, I didn't have to return the truck to a rental place, I got to keep it. Now I have a truck that is great as a daily driver as well as hauling whatever I need whenever I need to haul it. Next time you are moving, and a rental truck company wants to charge you an arm and a leg, just spend the money on a used F150. You won't regret it.

I have owned this truck for two years, and I know it came from a good owner before me. I am now at about 90K miles, but this truck still feels like it will run forever. I love the giant center console of the XLT. Great for storing my fiancé's purse and other large valuables when she wants to leave them in the car. I really love the exterior look. It is my favorite body style of any newer pickup. The stock wheels do get a lot of grime on them that sticks unless you are diligent about keeping them clean. That would be my only negative about the exterior. This particular truck has the Ecoboost, and I love it. I drive a lot of highway miles, cruising at a steady speed, so the Ecoboost helps me keep my mileage at about 19 mpg. Great for a pickup. The only downside to that is when you need a lot of get up and go to pass someone in a tight situation, the Ecoboost does not respond immediately. It needs a couple of seconds to wind up. The interior is fairly average, especially the center display. My favorite part about this truck is the roomy backseat. The seats can be folded up, and it leaves a floor space almost the size of a twin-sized bed. This is amazing for moving or even if you need to sleep in your truck (which I have done a few times). Overall, I am extremely pleased with this vehicle.
