I bought the Ford Fiesta because it was Ford's "baseline" (cheapest!) model. Affordability was a huge factor for me, and the Fiesta was the most affordable and appealing new car I found. It's a cute, sleek-looking little car, and is relatively comfortable, for the level of affordability. So far I have not had any random problems with the car, beyond the usual tire and brake pad replacement necessities. I've driven it a lot in the past three years, so there's already over 60,000 miles on it, and it still seems like a new-ish car. I would recommend the Fiesta baseline model for anyone looking for a solid but affordable vehicle.
