2013 Ford Flex - Spacious, reliable family car
The Flex is an overall excellent vehicle. It is spacious with seats that fold flat for extra cargo space. The interior is sleek and well-designed with several perks including navigation and hands free, voice activated and controlled system. It has all wheel drive and with snow tires it is unstoppable, even in the worst winter weather. I like it especially because my kids have plenty of room and we don't feel like sardines in a can, which makes everyone much more pleasant during long road trips. It also has a rear backup camera which is useful especially since it is a longer vehicle. Only major downside are the low profile tires. I live in the country on dirt roads and I have had to replace my wheels because they are easily damaged. Overall the car has a lot of power and is a smooth ride.
Historia
During the winter we head up North to snowboard. All of our equipment fits in this car and we watch movies the whole way up (well everyone but the driver).
A Favor
It is a smooth ride in a spacious, sturdy vehicle. Very comfortable and comes with several useful functional features.
En Contra
Windshield has cracked twice.
Won't play music from my iTouch.
Not the best gas mileage but better than other similar makes.
2014 Ford Flex - Ford Flex, best for the price
The Ford Flex has so much space with third-row seating. I love that the back and middle rows convert to create an enclosed flat bed.
Historia
We went on a trip to New York and used the Flex because we wanted to bring a baby stroller with us including all of our luggage. Everything fit in the back of the third row, and we were still able to use one of the seats in the third row for oldest daughter.
A Favor
My favorite feature on this vehicle is the kick open back hatch. This comes in handy when you are carrying a child and groceries at the same time.
En Contra
Gas mileage, it is decent, would love to have a hybrid version of this to make it better gas mileage.
