I purchased my 2016 Ford Focus in December 2016 after my 2005 Honda Accord started giving me trouble. I like the modern look of the exterior as well as how much more distinguished the black looked as compared to my old peeling red finish on my Honda. It was a lot quieter than I was used to and the ride was smooth. I also really enjoyed switching from a leather interior that would get ridiculously hot in the summer to a cool cloth upholstery. My old car was a coupe so the Ford Sedan was also a big improvement for me in terms of space allowed to both my passengers and I. I feel it is more durable as an American-made vehicle as compared to my old import.

When looking for a car I checked out safety features, how car seats would fit in the car, the extras oohs and ahhs you can get, etc. The ford focus was the only car I could find that I liked. As soon as I sat in one for a test drive I knew it was exactly the one for me. It felt so natural. I drove that same car out of the lot that day. You can fit 3 car seats across it which we needed. The heated seats were also a bonus. The hatchback option makes it feel like the car is much bigger than it is. I can set up my phone to connect to the car as well which helps to play audiobooks and other music from the car speakers on long drives. If someone calls me I can answer hands free through the dashboard. I know these are not uncommon for cars nowadays but adds to the total package of the car I fell in love with. The seat, the layout of the dashboard buttons and screen are all appealing to me. My husband is 6 foot and can fit in the car comfortably. And after 100k miles it's still going strong. It's survived three kids, countless road trips across the country and pets. I'd buy this car again for sure.
