We financed our vehicle at only 20,000 miles in. The the first four years of obtaining the vehicle the only maintenance we needed done was regular checkups, tune ups, oil change and the horn needed to be replaced. Outside of that our Ford Focus cruised from Texas, to Michigan to Florida and back several times. However, recently there have been a few more attention needing repairs. For example, the gas knob and tube needed replacing. Also all of the engine bolts needed replacing as well. We ended up later learning this is a very common problem with this year model.

I love my Ford Focus. This vehicle is basically bare bones. Cloth upholstery and hand crank windows. It runs like a top and gets great gas mileage. Most of my previous vehicles were Cadillacs and the Focus is much smaller, but still provides a good amount of interior space. It is much easier to park than my past vehicles. Outside of regular maintenance (i.e. oil change, replace tires) the only thing I have had to replace is the battery.
