Not a value buy
I enjoyed the shape of this car, and the fact that it was station wagon-type build. This gave me a lot of room when I folded down the backseats, which was perfect for getting myself back and forth to college (I moved myself completely—without the help of my parents, and all in one trip with this car). I also liked that the seats were upholstered nicely and not vinyl, making them cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. The interior was sleek as well. It had quite a few blind spots on both sides, however, and was in the shop frequently. I went through eight wheel bearings in the 3 years I had it, and that was before it even reached 90,000 miles. It rusted very quickly, even for a vehicle in a heavily salted environment. The gas mileage was decent, around 30 mpg, but it wasn’t worth it for how much I had to have it in the shop. It drove okay, and had decent steering radius, but was not good in the snow. I live in upstate New York, and it got stuck and slid frequently. Not a great winter car, and I wouldn’t recommend without replacing snow tires every single year.

About My Car
Ever since I can remember I always thought the Corolla was a real boring car. Like for old people. Then I saw the commercial featuring the new Corolla and at first I thought it was a whole new car from Toyota. That can't really be a Corolla can it? I hurried to the local dealership that had gotten one of the first ones in. Took it for a test drive, and I was sold that day. I just had to have it! I bought the car almost two weeks ago now and I still absolutely love it. The salesman tried to tell me about all the improvements Toyota made to the Corolla, but I could just see it with my own eyes and feel it with my own hands on the steering wheel. It's a really smooth car with tons of features on the LE model. It's so worth the money. It's comfortable, quiet, gets great MPG and I already know it has the Toyota stamp of reliability. If I had any complaints, I really wish the interior was upgraded some, but I know it's not a luxury car. I paid around $21,000 out the door and couldn't be any happier for what I got.
