I travel a lot, so gas mileage is important. In this Ford I'm typically averaging between 36 and 37 miles per gallon. This past summer I drove from Pennsylvania to British Columbia -- over the course of the summer putting 9,000 miles on the vehicle -- and the gas mileage was never under 36 mpg.

The thing I like most is the excellent gas mileage as it gets 35 miles per gallon. It has been a very dependable car. Usually it performs well, although I did have a problem with it accelerating too fast when going up hills and mountains. It is small, which I like, so it is easy to park and maneuver. I needed a car quickly when my previous one quit. This one was available at a good price and had low mileage (42,000 miles at five years old). I was also able to buy it from a dependable dealership who can still service it.
