CarMax is a buyer friendly dealership. If the car you're interested in is not at your location you can have it delivered there, often times for free. This makes the shopping process very easy. I ordered my car online, and my rep kept me informed throughout the entire process. On the arrival day I scheduled an appointment with my salesman and the process from test drive to going home was about two hours. This included all of the financing, adding/waiting on insurance documents to be faxed over, and even detailing. Financing was really simple as well! My financing was picked up by CarMax themselves. So unlike other dealers, I did not have many marks on my credit. I did refinance through my credit union within the 15 day period they allow and there was no penalty or interest charged. Overall, my experience was great.
