The 2001 mustang GT is a great performance vehicle. With a 4.6 Liter V8 making 260 horsepower, it is never short on acceleration. The engine is smooth and pulls hard even with the automatic transmission. The transmission is responsive and shifts with authority. I have the convertible, and the top is easy to put up and down via a button in the center console. This car also handles well and the ride is never too harsh. My only complaint is the cheap appearing interior. Lots of hard plastics and an uninspired design. The back seats are also very cramped and very difficult to put a car seat in if you have children. This car has very muscular styling and looks great with my 2000 Cobra R wheels. This car is a summer car and I have put about 7,000 trouble free miles on it.

The car is a Mustang and it is very sporty. It has great mileage on the highway and people like to ride in it.
