My Mustang is used primarily for street use with occasional track racing. The car ran flawless until 130,000 miles, which the transmission needed a rebuild. I am not disappointed with this, since the vehicle had been raced majority of its lifetime. There are very few things I dislike about the car. Some could be related to exterior components that Ford used that can easily be swapped out for different body parts.

I wanted a Mustang even as a kid so when I joined the military and made enough money to purchase a new car I promptly looked around for a used Mustang. The 2005 was the first year of a new body style and I loved the way it looked. I found my Mustang at a Dodge dealership, it was a floor model that had been displayed when the car was first released so it had a cold air intake, after market pipes, and a flaming pony decal on the hood. I took it for a test drive and fell in love with the power it had and the way it sounds. Just a toe on the gas pedal was enough to take off from a green light.
