Ford Ranger - Dependable small truck that can do it all
The 1997 Ford Ranger has been a reliable truck for me for the last six years that I have owned it. It's four-wheel drive capabilities are great and have gotten me through six northeast winters. The interior is simple in design but provides everything you need. It has allowed for easy adaption of an aftermarket radio, and the speakers provide excellent sound quality.

Love it!
I loved this truck right from the start. It was even customed to how I wanted it. It came with all the standards plus automatic doors and windows. It also came with cruise control. These were usually not standard for trucks during this era. I was able to opt for a multi-CD changer with Bose speaker sound system. It had a v6 engine with lots of towing power. For such a vehicle, it was easy on the gas. Was getting at least 28 highway to 24 city. I was able to haul my two-seater jet ski with this with no issues for many years. It has a rugged build, solid thru and thru. The interior was very modern for the time and plush. It rode quite well throughout I would say up to 50,000 miles. I also used it for loads of mulch and rock on construction jobs. Handled the loads quite well. My only gripe with it was I just needed something bigger as time went on but made the best of this vehicle. Am quite happy overall on my purchase of this vehicle.

Great Vehicle
I absolutely love my truck. It drives really well, and there is hardly anything wrong with it despite it being 18 years old. It is a good little truck, although it can be a little light sometimes. However, going from my old Ford Explorer to the truck was a good choice, because the truck is able to carry things that the Explorer wasn't. The truck bed is just enough, it could have a little more space with smaller wheel wells, but it still works out just fine for me. The back seats are kind of a joke in terms of seating room. No one can actually sit back there so I don't know why they are even there, they just kind of take up space. The back window if kind of a joke, too. The sliding window just isn't very useful anymore. But, all in all, it's a pretty good truck, and I'm glad I own it.
