Built Ford tough.
I love my 2001 Ford Ranger; it has been very good to me. I know this because I've had several other cars, and none compare to the quality and toughness of my Ford Ranger. I love that it has an extended cab, so I can do all the things I need to do like move my friends stuff or haul lime-rock for home construction. My Ford Ranger has never let me down. Me and my Ranger did have a small scare when I needed to replace the fuel pump because it was worn out. It wasn't that painful because parts are easy to find and usually pretty cheap, so even when a part on my Ranger does get worn out, usually the replacement part is cheaper than most other truck makes and models. It does not have automatic windows or locks, but I prefer manual windows and locks to automatic because life can be rough on power locks and windows and they usually break. Manual locks and windows have never given me a problem. An all around fantastic truck. Good quality vehicle.

The Ranger
I love this little truck. It has been very reliable for the 12 years that I've had it. I have not had any major problems with the truck and actually it has started up without fail each time I cranked it! I feel that Ford did an awesome job with this model. Love driving this truck with its low profile look. The suspension is also really good for a small truck, the ride is very comfortable and not bumpy, rattley or loud. I have a manual transmission which makes it more fun and I have even trained my kids to drive it. My son wants me to give it to him whenever I buy another car or when he graduates from high school, he loves it. My Ford Ranger is a midnight blue color with no dents or major scratches on the body. It is very clean and I recently installed a chrome toolbox on the bed that makes it look even more slick! This has been one of the best running, fun and stylish vehicles that I have owned.

Like a tugboat: it's small but tough
The Ford Ranger was my first vehicle I drove more or less exclusively. It was used a bit beat up--far from the prettiest thing you could get, but it had the grits. For me living at the edge of a small town, my life and work revolved around the use of trucks. Like the title says, the Ranger is small, but it had more than enough power to get things done. Mileage was also much better when compared to larger trucks.
